According to the Daily Mirror, Aston Villa are struggling to get rid of Ross McCormack due to his bad boy image.
Aston Villa splashed as much as £12million to acquire the services of the prolific Ross McCormack last summer but rather than helping the Villans earn promotion into the Premier League, the striker has proven to be a huge headache more than anything else.
McCormack only scored 3 league goals for Villa last season and eventually went on to fall out with manager Steve Bruce due to his poor fitness as well as attitude, with the 30-year-old even missing training on one occasion by claiming that the electric gates at his home were broken last January.
Bruce clearly seems to have had enough of McCormack’s antics and has made it clear that the ex-Fulham star is surplus to requirements at the club by leaving him out of the pre-season tour of Germany.
The likes of Sunderland and Fulham have been touted to make a move for McCormack but a transfer has not come into fruition as of yet and Villa are said to be struggling to offload the Scottish international as his bad-boy image is putting off interested parties from acquiring his signature.
