In reports carried out by HITC, Aston Villa are believed to be outsiders to secure the services of Leicester City midfielder Tom Lawrence.
Aston Villa have been very quiet in the transfer market so far this summer but one can expect manager Steve Bruce to ramp things up during the upcoming weeks.
Due to the anticipation of an increased level of activity, Villa have been linked with a host of names by the media over the past few weeks and now in reports from HITC, revelations have been made that the Villans are 8/1 outsiders to sign Leicester City man Tom Lawrence.
Lawrence is widely expected to be leaving Leicester this summer after failing to break into the starting lineup, but a host of clubs are interested in the 23-year-old’s services due to his exploits for Ipswich Town while on loan with the Championship side last season.
Derby County remain the favourites to sign Lawrence while the likes of Brighton and Villa remain firmly in contention to recruit the ex-Manchester United man.
